Spring Cattle Program set for May 11

A Spring Cattle Program has been planned for Thursday, May 11, 2006 at the Garvin County Fairgrounds, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Chris Rice, Oklahoma State University Agronomist, will present a program on Weed and Brush Control. Eddie Funderburg, Agricultural Specialist with the Noble Foundation, will provide information on Sprayer Calibration, and Brandon Chandler, District Conservationist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, will talk about the government programs available to producers.
A meal will be sponsored by the Farm Credit Services of East Central Oklahoma.
Please contact the Garvin County Cooperative Extension office at 405-238-6681 by Tuesday, May 9 if you plan to attend in order that meal preparations can be made.
