SORC Employee of the Month named

— Jeannie Rowlett has been named an Employee of the Month at the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center.
Rowlett has worked at SORC for over three years. She works for the Recreation Department and currently heads up the Blue Rooster Flower Shop.
Rowlett, who enjoys working with clients and staff, and her husband, Erik, live in Stratford and enjoy movies, fishing, cooking out, family and church.
She was nominated because she is described as a “very dependable employee,” who seldom calls in and rarely takes time off.
“She is excellent in working with the clients both at the flower shop and on her recreation activity caseload. She has been the only staff member in the floral shop for the past six months and is an excellent florist.
“She is willing to learn and wants to stay abreast of new ideas and design trends in floral arrangements. She always has a smile and a pleasant demeanor.
“Jeannie has an excellent rapport with her peers and is respected for her professionalism. She is a very positive, self-motivated, hard worker and truly enjoys her job.”
