The actual election day is Tuesday, April 2 for the cities of Pauls Valley, Elmore City and Stratford, as well as the Wynnewood School District.

Voters in any of those areas have until Wednesday, March 27 to submit their request for mailed absentee ballots.

Early voting continues with in-person absentee ballots available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1 at the Garvin County Election Board office located in the county courthouse in Pauls Valley.

In Pauls Valley there are a couple of posts on the local city council up for grabs. In both cases incumbents are seeking new four-year terms.

A total of three races are currently set in Elmore City.

It’s a three-candidate race for the Ward 4 two-year unexpired term on the council with Tim Clark, Tony E. Brister and Victoria Wampler.
