A month’s worth of school reunions

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — The month of June looks to be filled with school reunions throughout much of the Garvin County area.

Four of those reunions are for Pauls Valley classes, while others are scattered around the county.

First up is this year’s annual Paoli Alumni banquet set for this weekend.

The Paoli banquet is Saturday, June 7 at the school cafeteria.

Doors open at 10 a.m. with visiting until a call to order at 12:30 p.m. followed by the banquet meal.

A couple of reunions are planned for the following weekend.

• The Pauls Valley High School class of 1994 will hold its 20-year reunion on Saturday, June 14.

• Then it’s the 30-year reunion for the Wynnewood High School class of 1984.

This reunion is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 14 at Punkin’s Bar-B-Que in PV.

• The Pauls Valley class of 1984 is planning its 30-year reunion for June 27-28.

Several classmates still have not been located. If you are a member of the class and haven’t been contacted about the reunion, contact Susan Perkinson Kiser at skkiser@cox.net or 918-261-8668.

• The 40-year reunion for the PVHS class of 1974 is set for June 28.

• The PVHS class of 1956 is holding a class get-together from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 28 at Tio’s Mexican Restaurant, Grant and Indian Meridian roads.

Other PV graduates are also welcome to stop by and visit.

• A Hughes school reunion will be at 4:30 p.m. June 28 at the REC Multi-Purpose Building in Lindsay.
