Monthly honors given at Lee Elementary

— A group of six have received top honors at Lee Elementary with the honor of students of the month for December.
The honor went to 6th graders Carter Tate and Kaylee Jones, 5th graders Coleton Jolley and Libby Coon and 4th grade students A.J. Garcia and Hannah Owens.
6th Grade
• Carter Tate is the son of Tim and Jeniece Tate. Carter has a brother, Cooper, in the ninth grade at the junior high.
Carter's hobbies are playing sports and showing pigs. Carter’s favorite subject is science and his favorite food is steak. Carter would like to go to college when he grows up.
• Kaylee Jones is the daughter of Ronnie and Janie Jones. Kaylee has a sister, Taylor, in the eighth grade at the junior high.
Kaylee’s hobbies are singing, playing her flute and reading. Kaylee’s favorite subject in school is music and favorite food is strawberries. When Kaylee grows up she wants to be a teacher.
5th Grade
• Coleton Jolley is the son of Corey and Allyson Jolley. Coleton has a brother and sister, Chasen Jolley at Jefferson and Cailen Jolley at Jackson.
Coleton’s hobby is playing sports. Coleton’s favorite subject is science and his favorite food is chicken fajitas. When Coleton grows up he wants to be a professional baseball player.
• Libby Coon is the daughter of Kara and Chris Coon. Libby has a brother and sister, Nathan and Kelsey.
Libby’s hobbies are riding bikes and playing basketball. Libby’s favorites include science as her subject and chili dogs as her favorite food. When Libby grows up she would like to be a veterinarian.
4th Grade
• A.J. Garcia is the son of Anselmo and Angie Garcia. A.J. has a brother and sister at the junior high, Oscar Vega in the 7th grade and Cristina Vega in the 8th grade. He also has an older sister, Holly Hernandez, that lives in Pauls Valley.
A.J.’s hobby is playing basketball. A.J.’s favorite subject is math and his favorite food is pizza. When A.J. grows up he would like to be a football player.
• Hannah Owens is the daughter of Lorie Owens and Troy Owens. Hannah has a brother, Weston Blaine, a sophomore at P.V. High School.
Hannah’s hobbies are playing computer games, reading and hanging out with friends. Hannah’s favorites include math and reading as her subjects and cheese pizza as her favorite food. When she grows up she would like to be a veterinarian.
