Monthly honors given at PVJH

Students of the month for December at Pauls Valley Junior High were Krystal Brantley, Weston Blaine, Lauren Wood, Darrell Newton, Krystal Klassen and Kyle Dill.

• Krystal Brantley is the freshman daughter of Kenneth and Deedra Brantley. Her grandparents are Howard and Wilma Brantley and Barbra Miller.

Krystal’s favorite class is English I with Mrs. Whaley. Krystal enjoys cheerleading, art and being with her friends.

• Weston Blaine is the freshman son of Greg Blaine and Lorie Owens. His grandparents are Willie and Marie Sanders and Mike and Irene Blaine.

Weston’s favorite class is geometry. His favorite teacher is Mr. Stevenson. Weston enjoys computers, motorcycles and video games. Weston is a member of the high school marching band and jazz band.

Weston plans to attend either OU or ECU in the future.

• Lauren Wood is the eighth grade daughter of Brad and Michelle Wood. Her grandparents are D.N. and Charlotte Wood and Fred and Barbara Reinhardt.

Lauren’s favorite class is English. She enjoys playing basketball, playing Phase 10 with family and friends and shopping. Lauren is a member of student council and serves as vice president, FCA, basketball, softball, track and First Baptist Church Youth Group.

Lauren’s future plans are to attend Oklahoma State University and become a veterinarian.

• Darrell Newton is the eighth grade son of Patrice Newton. His grandmother is Claudia Newton.

Darrell’s favorite class is science and Coach Manning is his favorite teacher. Darrell loves to play sports and his Play Station 2. Darrell is on the PVJH basketball, football and track teams.

He wants to go to college and play basketball and then go on to play for the NBA.

• Krystal Klassen is the seventh grade daughter of Jon and Jennifer Mackey. Her grandparents are Lloyd and Mathel Kleinman.

Krystal’s favorite class is language arts. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. McKay. Krystal enjoys drawing, painting, singing and listening to music.

Krystal plans to attend ECU when she graduates high school.

• Kyle “the real” Dill is the seventh grade son of David and Carolyn Dill. His grandparents are Richard and Rosie Vestell and George and Dovie Dill.

Kyle’s favorite class is science. His favorite teacher is Mrs. Sam. Kyle loves to play X-Box 360, ride bikes, play football and wrestle.

Kyle wants to be a fireman when he graduates high school.
