A star will be born

A total of 19 acts ranging from rock to country to instrumental music will be showcased this Monday night at 7:30 as the Pauls Valley Arts Council will host the Valley Idol Talent Contest at the Pauls Valley High School Auditorium.
Admission to the show is $5 each with all proceeds going toward the Pauls Valley Arts and Cultural Center.
The PVAC recently held auditions for the show and a wide variety of talent showed up for the audtions, said Kevin Stark, one of the organizers of the talent show.
“I think we will have a great show Monday night,” he said. “All of the contestants are very talented and will thrill the audience.”
The winner of the talent show will open for Ty England on June 21 when England is in concert in Pauls Valley.
Plus, the winner will have a chance to to sign a major contract with Box Talent, the premiere talent agency in Oklahoma.
“A representative from Box Talent will be there to evaluate the talent of the winner and will place them on their roster of musicians with the option of an exclusive contract with them,” said Box Talent’s Kym Johnson.
It will be a fun night of musical entertainment as Pauls Valley will select it’s very own “Valley Idol.”
