PV Police to the rescue

About 18 worths ago I went to City Hall to ask if they could do something about a house on South Elm. The trash and odor around it was getting unbearable.
Each time I went they promised to take care of it. Nothing happened!
As the months wore on it got worse, and back to City Hall I’d go. Still nothing! I did that for at least 18 months.
Finally I went to the mayor’s office. Nothing was done from there either.
Then the rats took the place over, and the trash blew into all the neighbors’ yards. It became a fire hazard and a health problem.
It was suggested to me to go to the county assessor’s office and find out who owns the property. They gave me the name, address and phone number and suggested I take it to the police station. So I did.
When I drove up Officer Scott McGaha was out front. I explained to him what was going on and how long I had been trying to get something done.
He just took the paper that I had gotten from the assessor’s office and said, “I’ll take care of it.”
I left there and went to the store, which took me about 30 minutes, and by the time I got home someone was already there cleaning it up. The whole neighborhood was thankful.
Thanks again Officer McGaha for doing in 30 minutes what City Hall and the mayor’s office couldn’t do in 18 months.
