Kidnapping case on the run

Pauls Valley — One Pauls Valley man is still on the run and being sought by authorities for his connection in an alleged plot to kidnap and assault the former boyfriend of a Pauls Valley woman.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Charlie Foster, 25, who is accused of being one of the three men involved in an assault late last month on Lindsay resident Kelly Bohannon, 38.

Bohannon was taken from his home and driven to a remove area, believed to be in a southern portion of Garvin County, where he was beaten up resulting in severe injuries.

State authorities have stated they believe Bohannon was kidnapped and beaten due to a recent break up with his girlfriend, Pamela Jackson, 44, of Pauls Valley.

Due to a medical condition Jackson was released on her own recognizance when she made an appearance earlier this week in a Garvin County District courtroom.

Also in court and now being held in county jail on $150,000 bonds apiece are two other PV suspects, Jeremy Burk, 37, and Johnny Wayne McKinley, 28.

All four of the suspects are now facing felony charges of kidnapping and aggravated assault and battery.

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation were called in to help local authorities after Bohannon was attacked just outside his Lindsay home in the 700 block of Raleigh and forced into a vehicle during late night hours of March 24.

The three male suspects are accused of beating Bohannon while inside the car before continuing the assault after stopping the vehicle at a remote site near Elmore City.

The victim said he later escaped by jumping out of a moving vehicle at a site believed to be in far northern Carter County. The vehicle is believed to have been traveling at least 40 mph as the suspects drove away from the scene.

A filed affidavit show Bohannon landed on a paved road before crawling over a fence and making his way to a nearby house, where a resident contacted authorities and called for an ambulance.

Bohannon told authorities he believed Jackson made up a false story about her being beaten by Bohannon as a way of getting revenge after the break-up of their dating relationship.

He did claim to recognize the vehicle used in the kidnapping, which officials said belonged to Jackson.
