NEW TUESDAY EVENING: Council OKs mural, clock

Pauls Valley City Council action Tuesday night -



Approved:

- A mural on Chickasaw Street near South Street.

- A Wacker Park gym scoreboard clock, with $3,694 in Kiwanis funds.

- Fire department Homeland Security grant.

- Rezoning 837 S. Walnut from R-2 to restricted commercial – for a convenience store and laundry. Limitation: no future liquor store.

- $4,600 to Lamar for a tourism billboard.



Also Tuesday night, Mayor Tim Gamble, Vice Mayor Billy Riddle and council members Gary Alfred and Keith Brinley heard a request for a resolution supporting a new recreation center.

A Main Street contract was changed to coordinate grant writing services with the city.
