Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — This is the first in a regular series from the new Garvin County Crime Stoppers program called the Crime of the Week.

The new program is set to officially begin on Thursday, Sept. 1.

Grand Larceny Case #2011-00318

Earlier in the year two trailers were stolen in the Foster area.

One of the travel trailers was recovered on June 3, 2011 in Carter County, Oklahoma. The pictured 2004 Kodiak Skamper has not yet been recovered.

The Kodiak Skamper travel trailer is a 21 foot white bumper pull. It has the Kodiak bear decals on the sides. Also stolen at the same time was the pictured 2009 Honda Rancher 4-wheeler, blue in color and a 4’x8’ single axle utility trailer.

The items were taken from a rural location on NCR 3090. It is unknown if the thefts of the two travel trailers are related. A suspect has been identified in the Carter County case.

Garvin County Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the persons responsible for this crime or any other crime occurring in Garvin County.

Anyone with information is asked to call Garvin County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-211-STOP or 1-855-211-7867.

Crime Stoppers does not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. A special identification number protects the identity of the caller. Crime Stoppers takes calls from persons with information about any felony.

Information leading to the arrest of a suspect or suspects could qualify the caller for a reward as determined by the Garvin County Crime Stoppers Board of Directors.

Crime Stoppers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Reward money comes from private individuals, businesses and foundations that see Garvin County Crime Stoppers as an integral tool in the community’s fight against crime. No tax dollars are used for rewards.
