PV Meets get early start this evening

Hospital Authority special meet leads off at 5 p.m.

emann@pvdemocrat.com — The Pauls Valley City Council, PV Hospital Authority and Municipal Authority have set their meetings at Pauls Valley General Hospital at 5:00 p.m. today. The following items are on the agendas:

  • Consideration of a 5 p.m. address by the PV Hospital Authority regarding staff questions and an update regarding PVGH.
  • Consideration of entering into a termination of management services agreement with SSM Oklahoma (St. Anthony Health System).
  • Consideration of approval of a cash basis financial report.
  • Consideration of ICD-10 CM/PCS training.
  • Consideration of a proposal from MetTel for telecommunication services.
  • Consideration of approving changes to PVGH’s policy and procedure manual.
  • Consideration of approving of a plan of correction from the OK State Dept. of Health concerning the EMS audit.
  • Consideration of approving a quote for wave form capnography equipment.
  • Consideration of an address by Billy Bowles regarding a lien release on property at 218 N. Locust.
  • Consideration of a tourism funding request for $1,000 for the Pauls Valley Arts Council production of “It’s a wonderful Life” as recommended by the Tourism Board.
  • Consideration of a tourism funding request by the PV Opry for $1,000 for a sponsorship as recommended by the Tourism Board.
  • Consideration of a tourism funding request for $1,750 for prize money for the Christmas parade as recommended by the Tourism Board.
  • Consideration of a tourism funding request up to $1,500 with local civic clubs matching $600 to replace 89 bows at the depot as recommended by the Tourism Board.
  • Consideration of a tourism funding request for $126 for the purchase of two vinyl banners as recommended by the Tourism Board.
  • Consideration of an intergovernmental agreement for jailing services with the Garvin County Sheriff’s Department.
  • Consideration of a quote from John Deere in the amount of $17,477.80 for the purchase of a mower for the cemetery.
  • Consideration of approving a quote for $14,699 for the purchase of a 2010 F-150 from T-Brown Auto Sales for the Water Treatment Plant.

Meetings could discuss items not on the agenda if they are presented. An executive session may discuss a pending investigation, employee negotiations and discussing the purchase of or appraisal of property. Comments will also be heard from the city manager, city attorney, the city council, trust manager, trust attorney, trustee and the public.
