Triple Header for City Officials at meetings tonight

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — The Pauls Valley City Council, PV Hospital Authority and Municipal Authority have set their meetings at City Hall at 5:30 p.m. this evening.

The following items are on the agendas:

  • Administering the oath of office for Patrick Grimmett, newly elected councilman.
  • Consideration of approval from Authority and City Council on amending the lease agreement between the city and hospital authority dated April 1, 1967 by placing control of facilities through the authority.
  • Consideration of obtaining funding for the operations of PVGH.
  • Consideration of approval from Authority on setting meeting schedule for remainder of 2013.
  • Consideration of approving the recommendations for the PV Waterpark.
  • Consideration of a tourism funding request for $35,188.55 for the purchase of a 37.5 ft. by 52.5 ft. ice skating rink as recommended by the PV Tourism Board.
  • Consideration of a tourism funding request for $12,500 from the PV Roundup Club regarding the 68th IPRA Heritage Days Rodeo as recommended by the tourism board.
  • Consideration of a tourism funding request by the Kiwanis Club for up to $7,000 for the 4th of July Celebration as recommended by the tourism board.
  • Consideration of a tourism funding request of $750 for advertisement on the Fox 25 Early Morning News “Road Trippin” segment as recommended by the tourism board.
  • Consideration of an address by Ruth Anne Colley regarding the burned out building at 108 S. Chickasaw St.
  • Consideration of approving the purchase of a 2012 Yamaha motor for the boat at the city lakes.
  • Consideration of an address by Jeff Hopkins regarding 606 N. Pecan St.
  • Consideration of approval from Authority on credentialing packets for Michael Boger MD and Salman Zubair MD for their Sleep Study Interpretation as presented by Bridget Cosby.
  • Consideration of approval from Authority on changes/modifications to PVGH’s policy and procedure manual as presented by Bridget Cosby.
  • Consideration of approval from Authority on a service quotation from GE Healthcare for $7,908 by Authority.
  • Consideration of approval from Authority on four Ruby Raburn medical scholarships with $200 each from Pauls Valley General Hospital and PV Hospital Foundation for a total of $1,600.
  • Consideration of approval from Authority on the purchase of the Pyxis System from CareFusion Solutions LLC as presented by Bridget Cosby.

Meetings could discuss items not on the agenda if they are presented.

An executive session may discuss a pending investigation, employee negotiations and discussing the purchase of or appraisal of property. Comments will also be heard from the city manager, city attorney, the city council, trust manager, trust attorney, trustee and the public.
