Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Clyde Harold Dockray, 81, passed away August 17, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Clyde was born July 3, 1932 in Bois D’arc, Missouri to Olis and Anna Dockray.
He graduated from Wynnewood High School. After high school, Clyde joined the U.S. Air Force.
He was married to Lavon Norvell, the love of his life, on September 6, 1957. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base while earning his Bachelor degree in Industrial Arts.
Together, Clyde and Lavon enjoyed travel, fishing and golf. He was a member of Del City Church of Christ and the Carriage Club.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents and youngest brother, Eugene.
He is survived by his wife, Lavon; sons Rex, Larry and wife Janet; two grandchildren, Riley and Kelsey Dockray of Yukon, Okla. Also one brother, Rudy of Denison, Texas, and one sister, Carolyn Whiteside of San Marcus, Texas.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Ford Funeral Service. Family will be present that evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Del City Church of Christ at 10 a.m. under the direction of Ford Funeral Service.
Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Wynnewood, Okla., at 2:30 p.m.
