Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Carolyn S. Miller of Elmore City, Oklahoma was born to Horace J. and Maurice (Knight) Fogle on October 25, 1947 in Milo, Oklahoma and passed from this life on April 18, 2013 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years.
Carolyn grew up and attended school in Graham, Oklahoma. She loved sports and was an avid basketball player and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma teams.
Carolyn and her family made their home in Elmore City, Oklahoma in 1972.
She was baptized in Emmanuel Baptist Church in Clemscot, Oklahoma. Carolyn worked at the Elmore City Gas & Go for 20 years. The highlight of her life was taking care of her family.
Ms. Miller is survived by her daughters Melissa Kile and husband Mike of Elmore City, Oklahoma, and Rhonda Lee and husband John of Hennepin, Oklahoma; 4 sisters: Sheri Miller of Altus, Oklahoma, Anita Roady and husband Ricky of Davis, Oklahoma, Hazel Langston and husband Gerald of Davis, Oklahoma, and Bonnie Bittle and husband Arlen of Davis, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren: Ethan Kile, Ashley Kile, Wyatt Collins, Robert Lee, and Garrett Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Ms. Miller was preceded in death by her parents Horace and Maurice Fogle; 3 brothers: Horace Lee Fogle, Alfred Fogle, and Roger Fogle; and 1 brother-in-law, Tommy Miller.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 20, 2013 in the Elmore City Cemetery with Rev. Roger Sims officiating.
