Pauls Valley, Oklahoma —
Wanda Case of Loco, Oklahoma was born to Elmer O. Taylor and Josie I. (Ridgell) Taylor on May 6, 1926 in Duncan, Okla., and passed from this life on June 3, 2013 at her home at the age of 87 years.
Mrs. Case grew up in Owens Prairie, Okla., and attended school in Bray, Okla.
On November 1, 1945 she married the love of her life, Leo Case, in Duncan, Okla., and they made their home in Pernell, Okla.
Wanda worked as a clerk in the County Treasurer’s office in Stephens County for many years. She was an avid farmer and rancher most of her life, as well as having a love for cooking. Mrs. Case was a member of Main Street House of Prayer in Duncan, Okla.
Mrs. Case is survived by her daughter, Sandra Daffern and husband Curtis of Corum, Oklahoma; son, Joseph Case and wife Connie of Loco, Oklahoma; 4 nieces and 1 nephew, as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leo Case, her parents Elmer O. Taylor and Josie I. Ridgell Taylor, and 1 brother and 2 sisters
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Shady Grove Church with Rev. Carl Conway officiating.
Interment will be in the Foster Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
