Pauls Valley, Oklahoma —
In 1992, he and Helen moved to Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to be near two of his children. There he was a member of the Pauls Valley First Baptist Church, serving as deacon and teaching senior men.
Overall, he taught Sunday school classes for 70 years, with the exception of World War II and a year caring for his wife, Helen.
In addition to his mother, father and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Franklin Henry Ibach of Caplinger, Missouri, and James Deward Ibach of Caney, Kansas; and one sister, Marie Ibach Dillsavor of Bartlesville.
Survivors include two sons: David Wynn Ibach, formerly of Houston, Texas, and Henry Franklin Ibach and his wife Sharon Lynn of Norman, Oklahoma, and one daughter, Frann (Ibach) Pratt and her husband Phillip Robert of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; four grandchildren: David Ryan Ibach and his wife, Bethany of Oklahoma City, and Stephen Franklin Ibach and fiancée Clare Springer of Norman, Oklahoma, Jennifer Anne Pratt of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and Jessica Lee Johnson and her husband Gregg of Redding, California; and two great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Judah Johnson.
He was a sweet, kind and generous man, always ready to help others, while independent and firm in his beliefs and convictions. He will be missed.
