Luther J. Reynolds

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Luther J. Reynolds of Pauls Valley was born April 14, 1941 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to Robert Henry and Bertha Aletha (Gray) Reynolds.

 He passed away August 15, 2013 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years.

 Luther was raised in the Elmore City and Foster area; later living in Wyoming for many years and then in Cleburne, Texas for 25 years where he was a Truck Driver. After his retirement he returned to this area in 2008.

 Surviving family include his four children: Beverly, Randy, Todd and Vonda; two brothers: Robert Reynolds of Elmore City, and Lonnie Reynolds and wife Darlene of Okeene; three sisters: Mary K. Hill and her husband David of Kaw City, Evelyn Brown and Opal Henry, both of Elmore City; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a very special caregiver, Sue Green, and one sister-in-law, Wynona Reynolds, both of Pauls Valley; as well as his faithful dog, Blazer.

 He was preceded in death by his parents Robert H. and Bertha A. Reynolds; and two brothers, Jackie Reynolds and Edward Reynolds.

 Graveside services were held Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Foster Cemetery officiated by Rev. Andrew Davidson.

 Interment was at Foster Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
