Sherri Bell O’Dell

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Sherri Bell O’Dell of Wynnewood, Oklahoma was born to Kelvin Dusty Mahorney and Patricia Coker on June 27, 1976 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed from this life on February 16, 2014 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 37 years.

Sherri grew up and attended school in Jacksboro, Texas. She then went to work for her dad with Texas Two-Way Radio. Sherri moved to Oklahoma to work along side her grandfather at Mahorney Radio in Velma, Oklahoma.

In 1998, Sherri married Frank L. “Bo” O’Dell in Shannon, Texas, and made their home in Wynnewood, Oklahoma in 2005.

Sherri then went to work with her dad at DDB Unlimited in Wynnewood. Sherri loved riding in her UTV and was active for Relay For Life.

She was devoted to her work, her friends, and family. Sherri always had a helping hand for others.

Mrs. O’Dell is survived by her husband Bo O’Dell of the home; 1 son: Alex O’Dell of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; 1 daughter: Alisha Fletcher of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; 2 brothers: Lester Mahorney and Melody of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, and Dustin Mahorney and his wife Stephanie of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; 1 sister: Brandy Dover and husband Jimmy of South Carolina; grandmother: Betty Mahorney of Velma, Okla.; and 2 uncles: Robby Mahorney of Yukon and Keith Mahorney of Tennessee.

Sherri was preceded in death by her father Dusty Mahorney, grandfather Kenneth A. Mahorney; and uncle: Ray Mahorney.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Higher Ground Church in Pauls Valley with Rev. Joel Downing officiating.

Interment will be in the Foster Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
