Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Jessie “Lovenia” Victoria Alvarado, 83, of Pauls Valley was born in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Fred Bevers and Jessie Kelsey Bevers on December 5, 1930. Lovenia passed from this life on April 3, 2014.
Lovenia lived in rural Pauls Valley her entire life. She worked hard at many jobs over the years. She worked many years as a job foreman and landscaper at Twam Nursery and later at the Homeland Bakery until retiring.
Lovenia was never one to shy away from hard or messy work. You could find her mowing her lawn or keeping her property in top shape well into her late 70s.
Lovenia was married to Murl Moyers for 30 years and they raised four children together.
Lovenia was preceded in death by her first husband Murl Moyers; her son Murl Alvin Moyers; her parents; as well as brothers Alton and Ross Bevers.
Surviving family includes her children: Kay Joyner and husband Jim, Linda Harmon and husband Alvin, and Phyllis Stephens, all of Pauls Valley; grandchildren: Mel Joyner and Jeniece Tate of Pauls Valley, Tina Mainord of Purcell, Sandy Goggans of Pauls Valley, and Stephanie Potthoff and Brandon Stephens, both of Norman; as well as 9 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
