Patsy Lou Beaver Maloy

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Patsy Lou Beaver Maloy, 74, entered this life on August 19, 1938, born to Robert-Henry Logan Beaver and Hazel (Ronsley) Beaver, and passed from this life on July 20, 2013.

Patsy grew up and attended school in Wynnewood, Okla., and earned the nickname “Olive Oil.” She loved to play basketball and chase boys. She also was a talented speller at a young age, winning a spelling bee at Wynnewood Public Schools.

Patsy graduated from Wynnewood High School and began her career as a caregiver for the Pauls Valley State School. She worked at the State School for 37 years, before retiring.

Patsy had many hobbies including dancing, talking on the phone with friends and gossiping. She loved to listen to Ray Price and the highlights of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ms. Maloy is survived by her son Darryl Gene Williams and wife Lorrie of Davis, Okla.; daughters Brenda Kay Williams and husband Chuck of Wynnewood, Okla., and Darla Sue Clemens and husband Cody of Pauls Valley, Okla.; brothers Robert Beavers and wife Shirley of Pauls Valley, Okla., and Gary Beaver and wife LaDonna, also of Pauls Valley, Okla.; sisters Betty Cardoza and her husband Joe of Fresno, Calif., and Joella Beaver of Midwest City, Okla.; grandchildren Derek Williams and wife C.J., Jenny Leigh Clemens, Nathan Williams,Cody Ryan Clemens, Sarah Ranabargar, Megan Williams and Ashley Watts; and great-grandchildren Mackenna Clemens, Callee Williams, Skye Williams and Kreed Williams.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hazel and Henry Beaver, also Rebecca Williams.

Funeral services for Patsy Maloy are scheduled for Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Higher Ground Church in Pauls Valley, Okla., with Joel Downing officiating. Interment will be held at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, Okla.
