Tim Austin Scarberry, 76, of Pauls Valley passed away October 18, 2012 at his home in Pauls Valley. He was born June 26, 1936 to Fredrick and Edna (Holman) Scarberry in Plainview, Texas.
Tim grew up in Plainview, Texas and lived there for 33 years. He married Rena Cobb on December 19, 1957 in Plainview, Texas.
They moved to Carnegie in 1970 and then in 1999 they moved to Pauls Valley. He owned and operated Bargain Time New and Used.
Survivors include his wife, Rena Scarberry of Pauls Valley; two daughters, Gay Lynn Tselee of Carnegie, Okla., and Ginger Calip of Pauls Valley; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers: Roy Scarberry of Carnegie, Tommy Scarberry and wife Stella of Cordell, Okla., and Curtis Scarberry and wife Debbie of Choctaw, Okla.; and two sisters: Janet Emert and husband Floyd of Sulphur, Okla., and Maudie Barnes and husband George of Hobart, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Vickie, sister Barbara Ralls, and two brothers Marion Scarberry and Calvin Scarberry.
Graveside services were held October 22, 2012 at Carnegie Cemetery in Carnegie, Okla. Services were under the direction of Ray and Martha’s Funeral Home in Carnegie. Go to RayandMarthas.com to send online condolences to the family.
