Shortly after that time, Larry was hired on with Lone Star Gas Company. During his 37 years of service to the company, Larry and his family lived in Texas.

After illness forced his retirement, he and Sandy moved to Katie, Oklahoma and made their home there in 2000.

Larry loved spending time with his family. They enjoyed fishing, going to the lake and weiner roasts. He also coached little league baseball and T-ball.

The highlights of his life were his children, grandchildren and serving the Lord.
