Jo lived in Pauls Valley as a small child and then relocated with her parents to several other communities as her father managed natural gas plants throughout the Midwest. Jo returned to Pauls Valley when she was 17 and made this her home for the next 71 years.

Jo’s family preceding her in death include her husband J.U. Donihoo, her father Thomas Fleming and her mother Edna McChesney as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and brothers- and sisters-in-law.

In addition to her family and friends, Jo was devoted to and took great pride in serving her church, supporting her community and in building hercareer.

Among those most dear to Jo were the Pauls Valley General Hospital Auxiliary and The Donihoo-Colley Complex where she served as Chairperson of the Board from 1988 until her retirement from this position in late 2010.

Jo’s memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Pauls Valley First Presbyterian Church. A private family graveside service will follow. Services will be officiated by Dr. Harry Millard and Rev. Tom Buzbee.
