Bulldogs blow out Tigers

The Stratford Bulldogs used a 25-0 run to start the game to race past Ft. Towson 91-47 Friday night in Stratford.Ft. Towson scored four points in the first quarter all coming with no time on the clock. A technical foul got the game going as Stratford was teed up for grabbing the rim during warmups. Beason hit one-of-two attempts for a 1-0 lead. Cooper then hit a three-pointer at the buzzer for the four-points by the Tigers.

Stratford, on the other hand, got going early scoring 25 straight points to blow open the game. Landon Wood had 11 points in the opening run and Noah Johnson added 7.

The Bulldogs extended their lead in the second behind 7 points from Russel Caton and 6 points each from L. Wood and Johnson. Stratford led 47-18 at the break.

Stratford had a 14-2 run in the third quarter that led to a 74-36 lead with L. Wood leading the way with 6 points.

The Bulldogs finished up the game with a 10-1 run by the reserves for a 91-47 win.

L. Wood lead all scorers with 28 points for the Bulldogs and Johnson added 13. Casper had 12 and Collins 10 to lead the Tigers.
