Pauls Valley's playoff start will have to wait a couple of days as Friday night's game with Elgin was postponed until Monday evening.
PV officials found out early Friday afternoon that the game had been cancelled due to the weather forecast.
Officials decided to postpone the game instead of risk injury to players, coaches and fans for driving in potentially slick and hazardous road conditions.
Pauls Valley will now face Elgin on Monday night with the Lady Panthers playing at 6:30 p.m. and the Panthers at 8 p.m.
Depending on whether they win or lose will determine what time Pauls Valley will play at SWOSU in Weatherford on Thursday.
A loss will have a team playing in the afternoon but a win would have a team playing in the evening.
The Lady Panthers have a tough task ahead of them as they face the No. 4 Lady Owls and superstar Maggie Oliver.
The Panthers have an equally tough task with the Owls and multi-talented star Derrick Thomas. Elgin is ranked No. 20 while PV fell from the rankings this week.
