Lady Panthers cruise past Kingston

marie@pvdemocrat.com — Veronica Alvarado and Kallie McMahon both scored in double figures to lead the Pauls Valley Lady Panthers to a 46-25 win over the Kingston Lady Redskins Friday in the Tishomingo Tournament.

Alvarado had a game high 14 points and McMahan added 11 but it was Cherykee Humphrey’s five quick points that sparked an early run that helped the Lady Panthers out to a quick start. Pauls Valley never trailed after taking the lead and never really looked back.

Pauls Valley’s lead grew to double digits behind six points from McMahaon in the paint.

PV extended the lead to 20 points in the third and fourth quarter before settling in at a 21-point win.

The Lady Panthers played in the consolation finals of the Tishomingo Tournament at Noon Saturday.
