Panthers first at Lone Grove

marie@pvdemocrat.com — The Pauls Valley Panthers contiuned their success on the links finishing first at the Lone Grove Invitational on Tuesday.

The varsity Panthers shot a 322 finishing 12 strokes ahead of Dickson and 13 strokes ahead of Tishomingo.

Daniel Whitehouse was one of four Panthers to place in the top 10 in the individual medalists race. Whitehouse finished third with a 77. Matt Henry was 6th with an 81, Chase Ensey 9th with and 82 and Garrett Fisher 10th with an 82. Carter Tate rounded out the scoring with a 94.

The Panthers ‘B’ team finished seventh in the team race with a 380.

James Williams led the group with an 88. Kevin Mendoza shot a 93, Johnny Williams a 96, Hunter Bailey a 103 and Kadin Keenom a 104.
