Badgers stay alive knock off No. 10 Savanna

marie@pvdemocrat.com — The Elmore City-Pernell Badgers kept their season alive by knocking off No. 10 Savanna 26-7 Friday night in the opening round of the playoffs.

The Badgers blitzed Savanna with their running game with 342 yards on the ground.

ECP came of three yards shy of having three players eclipse the 100 yard mark.

Shane Collins led the offense with 130 yards and two touchdowns. Zack Burks had 100 yards and Quinton Stueat had 97 yards and two touchdowns. Edgar Gonzales had 15 to round out the rushing game.

The Badger will now get a home game in round 2 as Afton a 26-6 winner will visit Wheeler Field.
