SUNDAY
EC Ag Boosters
Elmore Masonic Lodge #533 and the Elmore City Ag Boosters will host a steak fundraising dinner to benefit 4-H and FFA at 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3 at the school lunchroom.

PV Revival
Faith Temple, 117 S. Spruce, will host Rev. and Mrs. Charles Dial during a revival at 6 p.m. daily Sunday-Wednesday, Feb. 3-6. Rev. Dial is a former business man from Pauls Valley.

Men’s Breakfast
Men of all ages are invited to a fellowship breakfast at 8 a.m. every first Sunday of the month at Little Ben’s Pizza in Pauls Valley. Call Allen Rude at 405-665-1061 for more information.

MONDAY
Absentee Voting
In-person absentee voting will be available at the Garvin County Election Board office at 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4.

Maysville Book Sale
The Maysville Public Library, 508 Williams, is holding a book sale fundraiser at 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, Feb. 4-7.

Whitebead Election
Residents in the Whitebead School District have until Friday, Feb. 8 to get their voter registration in order for a March 4 school bond election.

Lindsay City Filings
Candidate filings for three Lindsay City Council posts will be at 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, Feb. 4-6 at the city clerk’s office in Lindsay.

Soccer Sign-Up
Youth soccer sign-up is available at 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays at the law office of Ed Tillery, 210 W. Grant. Games for 4- to 12-year-olds are planned for the sports complex set for renovation near Indian Meridian. A birth certificate and small photo are needed for players signing up for the 19 and under and 16 and under leagues.

Conservation Filing
The filing period for the Garvin County Conservation District Director Position No. 1 is available through Feb. 14. Call (405) 238-7233.

TUESDAY
Relay For Life
A Relay For Life team captains’ meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 in the Loftin Conference Room at Pauls Valley General Hospital.

Mardi Gras Service
The public is invited to St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, 1800 S. Walnut in PV, for the beginning of Lent with Evening Prayer and a Mardi Gras supper at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5. Ash Wednesday services are at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 6 and soup suppers will be each Tuesday evening during Lent.

Sweetheart Banquet
A Sweetheart Banquet and Auction, sponsored by the Pauls Valley Rotary Club, will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at the Bosa Center. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Proceeds to go toward building a gazebo at the Rose Garden in Wacker Park. Tickets can be purchased at the PV Chamber of Commerce office. Call 238-6491.

WEDNESDAY
Ash Wednesday Lunch
The first of several noon Wednesday luncheons to be held each week at different churches in the area during Lent and leading up to Easter will be on Feb. 6 at PV First Presbyterian Church. A devotional prayer will be part of each 45-minute luncheon.

PV Angel Food
Orders for the Angel Food program in Pauls Valley will be available at 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the First Methodist Church and 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 at the church. Call 238-3354. The next distribution day is March 1.

THURSDAY
Junior Fundraiser
PVHS junior class parents are sponsoring a portrait fundraiser Feb. 7-10. Donations of $19.95 will get coupons for a sitting fee and a free 8x10 portrait. Call Jill Davenport at 238-0629 or Tammi Godfrey at 238-9771.
