SUNDAY

Elmore Fundraiser

A brisket dinner and silent auction to benefit cancer patient Diann Stubblefield will be at 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13 at the EC-P school cafeteria. Silent auction items will be accepted at 10 a.m. the day of the dinner.



PVHS Art Show

The Pauls Valley Arts Council will host the annual Pauls Valley High School Art Show at 1-5 p.m. Sunday, April 13 at city hall.



MONDAY

Paoli Indian Ed

A Paoli Title VII Indian Education public meeting for the 2008-2009 application will be at 3 p.m. Monday, April 14 at the Paoli High School library.



PV School Board

A PV Board of Education regular meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 14 at the administration offices, 301 N. Chickasaw.



Pre-K Enrollment

Pre-Kindergarten enrollment at Jefferson Early Learning Center will be at 9-11 a.m. and 1-2 p.m. Friday, April 18. Students must be 4 by Sept. 1. Bring birth certificate, social security card and shot records.



Briscoe Fundraiser

A fundraiser for PV freshman Paige Briscoe, injured in a skiing accident last month, will have students cleaning up yards for donations on Saturday, April 19. Call Lance Whaley at 207-4038.



PV Barrel Races

Weekly open 4-D Jackpot barrel races will be Monday nights at the PV Roundup Club Arena in Wacker Park starting Monday, April 14. Call 405-238-2776 or 405-207-6058 (cell).



PVHS Plant Sale

Pauls Valley High School will hold a plant sale through April 16. Times are 8:15-11:30 a.m. Call Sharun at 238-2128.



PV Rodeo Queen

Candidates are being sought for rodeo queen during PV’s annual Heritage Days IPRA rodeo June 26-28. Apply at Norton’s Jewelry or contact Lili Norton at 405-238-2776.



TUESDAY

PV Junior Class

Raising funds for an after-prom celebration, PVHS junior class parents will hold a mother/daughter and father/son basketball game at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15 at the PV gym. Entry fee is $5. Call 238-0629.



THURSDAY

Paoli Enrollment

Pre-kindergarten enrollment at Paoli Elementary School will be at 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, April 17 in the school library. Student shot records, birth certificates and social security cards are needed.



Vietnam Vets

Vietnam Veterans Chapter 846 will meet at 7 p.m. every third Thursday each month at Little Ben’s Pizza in Pauls Valley. For more information, call 238-6574.



SATURDAY

Relay Yard Sale

The Relay For Life team for Bedré Chocolates will hold a huge yard sale at 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at 902 E. Chickasaw in Wynnewood.



PV Rodeo

A MRCA rodeo will start at 10 a.m. April 19-20 at the PV Roundup Club rodeo grounds. Books open at 9 a.m. each day. A cowboy church service will be at 9 a.m. Sunday at the rodeo grounds.



Beautify PV

With April being Beautify Pauls Valley month, local residents with water bill statements will get free disposal of bulky items, such as appliances and TV’s, at 8 a.m.-noon each Saturday in April at the trash transfer station.
