SUNDAY
PV Alumni
The PV Alumni will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1 at the PV Public Library.

Bible Schools
The Pauls Valley Church of the Nazarene, 224 N. Pecan, will host a Vacation Bible School at 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 1-5. Call Pastor Charles Ledbetter at 238-3141 or 238-2804.
The First Baptist Church of Elmore City will host an annual Vacation Bible School on June 1-4. Call the church office at 580-788-4110.

MONDAY
PV Bible Schools
The First Baptist Church of Pauls Valley will host a Vacation Bible School at 9 a.m.-noon June 2-6. The VBS is free for children completing pre-school through sixth grade. For more information or for a ride call 238-3431.
The First Methodist Church is inviting students pre-school through the sixth grade to a “Beach Party” Vacation Bible School at 9 a.m.-noon June 9-13. Contact Zach or Debbie at 238-3354.

Relay Fundraisers
A Relay For Life photo fundraiser is now underway with two portrait packages available. Call Stephanie Hair at 207-7048.
With proceeds going to Relay For Life, a cruise for two is now being raffled. More information is at Sharpe’s, The Potting Shed, Agee Equipment or call Lauren Robbins at 207-8679.

Reading Program
Registration has already begun for the summer reading program at the Maysville Public Library. Call the library at 405-867-4748.

Bosa Open Swim
Starting Monday, June 2 the summer open swim schedule at the Bosa Aquatic Center in PV is 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. The schedule will continue through Aug. 9. Call 238-1238.

TOPS Meeting

TUESDAY
Grief Support
Valley Hospice and Pauls Valley General Hospital will continue a grief recovery support group on Tuesday, June 3 at the hospital. The group will conclude at 5:15-6:45 p.m. June 10. For more information, call 238-6142 or 800-738-6142.

AA Meeting
AA meetings will now be held at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at First United Methodist Church in Wynnewood. For more information, call 238-3710.

Lupus Support

SATURDAY
Football Camp
Former Pauls Valley player T.J. Rushing of the Indianapolis Colts and many other star NFL players will hold a free football camp at 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 7 at PV High School. The camp is for kids 8-15 years old. Space is limited and only open to the first 150 kids. Call (770) 895-8954.

County Democrats
Garvin County Democrats invite the public to hear Oklahoma Sen. Andrew Rice at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 7 in the Pauls Valley Depot Museum. The senator’s life work took a slightly different path after his brother’s death in the World Trade Center. He will discuss that change and the change in our country since then. It is expected that Rice will file to be a candidate for U.S. Senate this year.

City Garage Sales
Citywide garage sales are planned for Saturday, June 7 in Pauls Valley, Paoli and Byars.

50th Class Reunion
The Wynnewood High School class of 1958 will hold a 50th reunion celebration from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 7 at the Masonic Lodge, corner of Long Street and U.S. Highway 77.

Paoli Alumni
A change of date for Paoli alumni activities will be Saturday, June 7. The event will start at 11 a.m. and conclude with a 6:30 p.m. banquet in the school cafeteria. Call Sharon (Whitaker) Webster at 405-238-4558.

Birthday Celebration
Friends and past students are invited to a birthday celebration for Lorene Knight at 2-4 p.m. Saturday, June 7 at the United Methodist Fellowship Hall. No gifts.
