A bit of mystery to PV video

bporterfield@pvdemocrat.com — There’s some definite mystery going on for sure with a project now underway to promote Pauls Valley.

Very few specifics have been released about the project being led by the PV Chamber of Commerce.

Still, chamber President Sherri Wing says it’s a project focusing on the promotion of Pauls Valley as the fruits of the visual work are expected to come early this summer.

That simply means whatever all the filming is for it should be ready for viewing in a few weeks.

“We’re filming a promotional video with air time expected prior to July 1,” Wing said.

“It’s set to music and it speaks for itself,” she said, while staying true to the mysterious nature of the project by saying very little.

Filming is expected to wrap up soon, possibly next week, as no scripts were used by anyone taking part.

“It’s a project showing Pauls Valley in a positive light,” Wing said.

“This was an opportunity for people to promote themselves and the community of Pauls Valley.

“There will be one special shot at the end edited into the production.”

The film work at several different locations in Pauls Valley has been underway for days now.

A variety of people and groups have been participants in scenes for the finished promo product.

Wing says it includes individuals, civic and school groups, young families, seniors, local businesses, restaurants and attractions like the Toy and Action Figure Museum.

When it’s all wrapped up the whole point to the video is to promote various aspects of life in Pauls Valley.

Where that video will be displayed remains to be seen.

“This will give us regional and state exposure,” Wing added.
