Dora Veatrice Reece

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — Dora Veatrice Reece of Pauls Valley passed away May 28, 2014 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years old. “Vea”, as known by many, was born May 15, 1924 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Noah Hampton and Rosie Myrtle (Stacey) Potter. She married to B.F. Reece on November 23, 1942. She was a busy homemaker and a project coordinator for her husband’s many entrepreneurial ventures.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Charles “Chas” Francis Harding, III; her son, Benjamin Lewis; her parents; her husband, B.F. Reece; 6 brothers, James Potter, Charlie Potter, Calvin Potter, Adlee Joe Potter, Luther Potter, and C. L. Potter; 4 sisters, Annie Potter, Dorothy Freeman, Ethel Malone and her twin sister, Nora Beatrice Greenwalt.

Surviving family includes her two daughters, Linda Rose Reece Agee of Pauls Valley and Sherrilyn Reece of Washington, Ok.; her son in law, Dave Agee; her grandchildren, Jasen Reece Agee and wife Susie, Laura Lynn Agee Cooper and husband Tommy, deceased grandson Chas’ wife Kari, and Brennan Reece Harding and wife Meghan; and her great grandchildren, Elaine Martha Agee, Meredith Grace Agee, Adam Nathaniel Cooper, Cassidy Dawn Cooper, Victoria Rose Agee, Charles “Case” Francis Harding, IV, Reece Andrew Harding, Carter Anderson Harding, Isaac Thomas Harding, and Elliott Charles Harding.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Dave Agee. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. We invite you to send the family a message of condolence at

Offering Prayer

Taking a moment to pray before the offering, First United Methodist Church Pastor Mark Watson shared some very good news about the kids who participated in their Vacation Bible School recently. The kids collected donations from their peers every evening managed to raise just short of $1,000 for clean water in India.
