City meetings are Tuesday night

emann@pvdemocrat.com — The Pauls Valley City Council, PV Hospital Authority and Municipal Authority have set their meetings at city hall at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The following items are on the agendas:

• Consideration of the PVGH CEO and CFO reports and the CEO recommendations on financial and strategic initiatives.

• Consideration to authorize the CEO to develop a plan that provides for the sale of the hospital’s home health agency.

• Consideration of ICD-10 CM/PCS training at hospital.

• Consideration of approving an agreement with K-Town Consulting Inc. for coding services.

• Consideration of approving an agreement with HCCS for coding services.

• Consideration of approving an addendum to the Equalize RCM contract for billing services for Valley Women’s and Children’s Clinic.

• Consideration of a presentation and discussion concerning the performance improvement plan for the Emergency Services department.

• Consideration of a presentation and discussion concerning the performance improvement initiatives for the hospital, hospice and clinic.

• Consideration to authorize the CEO to initiate a search for an Interim Chief Clinical Services Officer.

• Consideration of approving credentialing packets at the hospital, changes to the hospital’s policy and procedural manual and changes to the hospital by-laws.

• Consideration of ratifying resolution 965 and ordinance 951, calling for the election for the half cent sales tax and implementation if passed, for the hospital that was passed in an emergency meeting on Jan. 2.

• Consideration of the reappointment of City Manager James Frizell to serve as the city’s representative to the SODA Board of Directors.

• Consideration of discussing and taking action on applying for 2014 CDBG grant through SODA.

• Consideration of purchasing a used 2011 Dodge Ram truck for $13,200 for the purpose of replacing the welding truck.

Meetings could discuss items not on the agenda if they are presented. An executive session may discuss a pending investigation, employee negotiations and discussing the purchase of or appraisal of property. Comments will also be heard from the city manager, city attorney, the city council, trust manager, trust attorney, trustee and the public.

The Pauls Valley Panther Prep Team finished second in the OK Kids State Tournament losing in the championship game to Weathford 11-9.
