Skeeter Willie Carter

Pauls Valley, Oklahoma — William Cecil “Skeeter Willie” Carter, 69, of Wynnewood was born to Evert and Ollie (Whitaker) Carter on Aug. 11, 1944 in Wynnewood and passed away Jan. 1, 2014 in Pauls Valley.

Skeeter grew up and attended school at Liberty. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1962 until 1965 in Germany.

After returning to Wynnewood from the service, Skeeter owned and operated a truck for 47 years. On July 17, 1997, he married Sylvia Sue Albright in Pauls Valley.

Memorial services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7 in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marion Oden officiating.
