Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc., is planning to hold a durable power of attorney clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 26 at the senior center in Pauls Valley.

On the same day state House Speaker Charles McCall is the featured speaker for a meeting open to the public starting at 10 a.m.

The Garvin County Retired Educators Association will host the meeting at the PV Chamber of Commerce, 112 E. Paul.

This year's summer reading program at the PV Public Library wraps up at 1 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, June 26-27.

A special program for all kids is Extreme Animals at 2 p.m. Friday, June 28.

• The Reynolds Recreation Center is again hosting the Xtreme Summer Fun program for children who have completed one year of school up through 18 years old. The program, complete with activities and snacks, is from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. weekdays through July 27.

Next week the theme is Sports and Fitness.

• The next First Tuesday lunch at the Antioch School/Senior Center will be at noon July 2. There is no charge but desserts are appreciated.

• A Whitebead Cemetery annual board meeting, open to the public, is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 at the Whitebead Methodist Church building.
