Lots of love with fun walk

This year's Love PV drive is about to hit the road, as in add a “fun” walk to the festivities planned for this summer.

For the second year the drive is moving toward raising enough money to provide school supplies to every Pauls Valley and Whitebead student at the start of the current school year.

The newest feature is a “fun” 5K event called “Walk in Love” planned for Saturday, June 1.

The registration fee for the walk is $30.

Sign up is online or at Bloomin' Crazy flower shop, First United Bank in town or the Meridian branch of PV National Bank.

Later in the summer it's the second Love PV Festival as fundraising continues for the effort.

The festival is scheduled for June 29 and is expected to again be held at Wacker Park.
