The Pauls Valley Opry will take its stage to the great outdoors as the 4th annual Opry in the Park event is set for an 8 p.m. start Saturday, July 6.
The show will be free to the public and use the Wacker Park bandshell as its stage, promising to be a night of fun and music under the stars, while many of the favorite “stars” of the Pauls Valley Opry will be performing.
Special guests include Brad and Tammy Sue Magness, Paul Lopez, Cathy Lake, Dwayne Yoesting, April Davis and Pake McEntire.

A little yoga and the great outdoors is continuing with free sessions in the Elmore City area.
Blue Daisy Flowers and Gifts in Elmore City is offering the relaxation of free yoga classes all at the Elmore City Lake.
It happens on Tuesday nights at 7:30 p.m. The remaining dates for the free classes are July 2, July 9, July 23 and July 30.

The Murray Lindsay Mansion in Erin Springs, located just to the south of Lindsay, has new hours for tours.
Times are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week.
This will include tours of the Pike Peak School Museum.
“Summer months are a good time to bring your children and grandchildren to learn about the history of the people represented by the two museums,” mansion officials said.
