Fundraising over the next few months is the ticket for this year's Relay For Life campaign in Garvin County.
Benefiting the American Cancer Association, the campaign will lead to the Relay event itself.
The Relay is set for the evening of June 7 at the Robert T. Rennie Memorial Park, which is the train depot area in downtown PV.
This year the Garvin County Relay For Life is celebrating its 22nd year after getting started here back in 1997.
The theme is “Beating Cancer in the Tropics.”
Anyone interested in forming a team of eight to 10 members should register at relayforlife.org/garvincounty online.
Teams must be registered no later than May 1. Call Vicki Rennie at 405-238-7511 for more information on the Relay.
• Crossroads Church in PV will begin hosting a flea market every Saturday starting in April. Proceeds will go to help church youth.

• Darrell Riley of the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs is scheduled to be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of the month at the PV Public Library.
Sessions are meant to help veterans with claims and services. The next one is March 26.
