This week is the time to put on a mask, literally, for an annual celebration held by the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Featuring a "Masquerade" theme the chamber's banquet is 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16 at the Bosa Community Center.
The evening includes dinner, silent and live auctions and the announcements of who will be named this year's citizen and corporate citizen of the year.
Chamber officials do say the fanciful masks for those attending are not required but encouraged.
Contributing to the festivities is the musical entertainment of the Jonathan Nichol Trio.
The jazz band with saxophone, guitar and bass instruments is led by Nichol, who is a University of Oklahoma saxophone professor.
Individual tickets are $40 in advance or $50 at the door. To purchase tickets or sponsor a table or for more information, visit www.paulsvalleychamber.com online or call 405-238-6491.
