Seven-figure bonds have been given to a Pauls Valley couple accused of sexual abuse with a two-year-old child.
Bonds of $5 million each were handed this week to both Gerrad Coddington, 25, and his wife, Christina Nelson-Coddington, 29.
The two are accused of sexually abusing the woman's two-year-old daughter and Coddington's stepdaughter.
The dates of the alleged abuses are listed as March 1 through June 14 this year as formal criminal charges have been filed in Garvin County District Court.
Gerrad Coddington is facing 12 formal charges, including five counts of indecent or lewd acts with a child under 16, enabling sexual abuse of a child under 18, possession of child pornography, violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act, manufacturing child pornography, conspiracy to commit a felony and two counts of soliciting sexual conduct with a miner by use of technology.
A total of seven similar allegations were filed against Christina Coddington.
The case against the local couple was led by the state attorney general's office after it was tipped off by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The tip came in the form of a single pornographic image sent from one Facebook user to another on May 30.
An affidavit shows the sexually explicit photo of a toddler was sent by Christina Coddington to her husband.
