Clean Up

Garvin County’s former district judge, Candace Blalock, pulls some damaged tree limbs in her front yard as Pauls Valley residents were busy cleaning up Wednesday morning after strong summer passed through during the overnight hours.

Pauls Valley got slammed with what some called the worst storm damage they had ever seen as a powerful summer system ripped through the area early Wednesday morning.

Residents of PV and other cities in southern Oklahoma were busy cleaning up after a storm with winds reported to be over 100 mph as the storm blew through with a fury.

Along with tree debris, including some big ones uprooted and on their side, another common sight Wednesday were crews all over town working to get electric power back on for local homes and businesses.

More information about the situation will come later.
