Lady Panthers race past Chickasha

In the opening game of the Plainview Tournament, the Pauls Valley Lady Panthers started slowly in their game with Chickasha. The Lady Panthers finally got going midway through the first quarter and didn't look back in a 66-30 win.

Junior Abby Rodriguez carried the Lady Panthers early scoring 9 of the teams first 11 points. Katlyn Davenport had six points in the second quarter to lead the Lady Panthers out to a 26-17 lead at the break.

Chickasha stayed around the 10-point deficit until the five-minute mark of the third quarter.

Pauls Valley went on a decisive 17-2 run over the next 7 minutes to blow open the game. Cailen Jolley had six points in the run and Allie Lace Added five as PV's lead grew to 54-25. Coach Jason Schroder cleared his bench in the final six minutes and PV went on for a 66-30 win.
