Becoming a tradition in Pauls Valley is the football camp offered each year by former Panther great T.J. Rushing.
With no cost to participants, the Rushing for Success football and cheer camp will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4 at Pauls Valley’s football field.
“Come spend the day working on fundamentals, skills, techniques and get hands-on interaction with NFL celebrities, OU and OSU players and elite cheerleaders.”
• The Valley Velo bike club has already got another riding season underway.
Bike rides are now starting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, 9 a.m. Saturdays and 6 p.m. Sundays at the Reynolds Recreation Center in PV’s Wacker Park.
The first two days are geared more for the advanced rider, while Sundays feature “no drop” rides with a shorter distance.
• Starting June 6 open swim hours at the Bosa Aquatic Center in PV is 1-5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays.
Lap swim and water walking on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays will be at 5:45-11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. Morning water fitness classes will be on those three days.
• A Mutton Bustin’ Buckle Series at the PV Arena will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 5 and continue June 12 and June 19. Register between 2-3 p.m. Kids age 3-7 under 55 pounds.

• The Maysville Daughters Club will host a co-ed softball tournament in Maysville on June 17-18. Entry fee is $125 per team. Volunteer umpires and concession workers are sought.
