The Stratford Bulldogs rallied from a six-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat Stonewall in a Class A District Title tilt in Stonewall Saturday.

The Bulldogs trailed 47-41 when they started their comeback bid. Led by Garan Qualls and T.J. Gaines the Bulldogs not only erased the lead but opened up a 10-point lead of their own and that's what the final margin was 62-52.

The defense helped carry the Bulldogs in the fourth quarter as it allowed only five Stonewall points.

Stonewall held an early lead in the game and opened up a five-point margin at the break 29-24.

The lead increased to six in the third behind the offensive prowess of Scribner, Gore and Monroe who all finished in double figures.

Qualls who led all scorers with 24, including four three pointers, and Gaines who finished with 17 sparked the Bulldogs comeback.

Stratford will now face Waurika in a Regional final game at Stonewall on Thursday night. Tip off of the game is at 8 p.m.
